A total work of art in retro style

The Buhlinger family's house from the 1950s is located in the Rhine-Main area, which was lovingly renovated by them in the style of the economic miracle period. The spacious living room was fitted with cement tiles in pastel shades with a sweeping design. Ms. Buhlinger found the pattern in an interior design magazine, and the successful choice of colors came from her. The color continues in the semicircular windows of the stairwell and in the wallpaper of the adjacent room and is also picked up by the accessories on the shelf. The entrance thus conveys a feeling of exhilaration and freshness and invites you to dance to the sounds of the vintage music box.

As the renovation work continued, it was the turn of the living room and the old tiled stove was replaced, it quickly became clear that they wanted to use the same tile design there with the pattern 211b in the colors white (M01) and light blue (M21).

Like the entire house, the result is a coherent work of art that could once again find its way into a stylish furniture magazine. The icing on the cake of this living room, which is also decorated in nostalgic retro style, is the tile rug from the fireplace. The sweeping lines of the pattern are repeated in the curves of the armchairs and even in the rug's wickerwork; the pastel shades of blue radiate freshness and comfort. Here you can relax at the end of the day.
